Kind Regards Mr. & Mrs Kothari ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Ashvinbhai, We worked with Pradip for the catering for our wedding functions, as a recommendation from Madhu's, with whom we were working with on the main organisation of our wedding. In total, we had 3 events to cater for, each with different requirements. From the outset, Pradip was approachable, available and easy to work with. We had very "off the run" requirements - we wanted something that wasn't typical Indian wedding food. Our memories of being fed at such events consist of oily daal with too much chilly and not enough flavour, potato curry and oily puris!! Not that there is anything wrong with such a menu, it just wasn't how we had envisaged our own wedding. We wanted very traditional Gujarati home-cooked food - the kind you get when you go home to your Mum. We wanted the food to be cooked as we would cook it at home - healthy and tasty; not greasy, without sugar, without too much salt, without too much chilly, and most importantly, we wanted chapattis - which are never served for mass-catered occasions. Our requests were only met with a CAN-DO attitude. There was no request or requirement that couldn't be done - in fact, suggestions were given to enhance the menu further. We worked together, devising a menu that suited our wants. Pradip spent a lot of time with us during both the planning and tasting stage. Any concerns we had were quickly reassured with concise and well thought out proposals. On the day, the senior Management Team from Pradip was there to oversee the cooking and smooth running of the catering. The event was absolutely enhanced by Pradip's input and helped to make it an even better and more fun event. We had 550 people at the wedding, and received as many compliments about both the menu choice and the food taste, from all cultural backgrounds. Guests were very pleasantly surprised by such an original and unusual wedding menu and the food was quickly gobbled up! I exaggerate not when some people said it was the best wedding menu they have ever seen or tasted, which is the kindest thing somebody can say to you on your wedding day. The choice was vast, the taste and presentation excellent and the quantity sufficient. In addition, we had three other smaller events, for approximately 150 people each in the days preceding the wedding. Again, I echo the comments made for the wedding ceremony. All three menus fitted the occasion perfectly. Following the Registry Office wedding, we had breakfast, which everybody appreciated and loved, followed by a Ganesh Pooja and Janoi ceremony with a traditional Gujarati lunch. In the evening for the mehndi (henna) night and sanji (evening dancing), we chose a menu light enough to be able to enjoy the evening without feeling too full and bloated, yet substantial enough to satisfy those that had just come from work and were starving, consisting of Ragda Petis and Indian style Masala Pasta and Salad. We 100% recommend Pradip's catering services for any function you have - you will get peace of mind, direction, excellent value for money, great service and most importantly, a menu that is personalised to YOUR requirements. Oh - and the tastiest, highest quality food!! We felt that Pradip treated us like family and not just customers.
